7HRC Overview

Human Resource Management in Context is a CIPD Level 7 unit that teaches human resource managers and professionals how to operate effectively in an increasingly complex and changing organisational and associated environment. Learners will design and implement innovative and strategic human resource solutions that drive corporate success via the use of self-reflection, critical analysis, and problem-solving strategies.

What is the Purpose and Objective of Human Resource Management in the Context of 7HRC?

This subject teaches candidates about the major internal and external environmental contexts in which modern businesses and organisations operate. Internal and external contexts may include commercial and managerial settings in which managers, human resource experts, and employees engage in response to a variety of environmental problems, changes, and uncertainties.

Additionally, this subject investigates how leading organisations, enterprises, and industries respond to dynamic and ever-changing environmental situations.

It demonstrates and directs how leaders and administrators in various organisations, human resource managers and professionals, and employees with human resource responsibilities must recognise and acknowledge that managers and leaders cannot influence organisational and human resource decisions on their own. They are formed to a larger extent by external and internal variables outside the managers' direct control.

Learners will gain an understanding of how managers and human resource professionals in various organisations not only have opportunities and choices when it comes to making organisational and human resource decisions, but also confront a variety of restrictions that limit their independence. As such, the purpose and objective of this module are to examine the implications for human resource professional practise and to give chances for both practical learning and professional development.
