7IBI Overview

7IBI CIPD level 7 module Investigating a Business Issue from a Human Resources Perspective. It enables learners to demonstrate their capacity to diagnose and explore a real-world, complicated business issue from a human resource perspective. Additionally, it enables learners to contextualise their work within the body of modern knowledge, collect and evaluate data, draw logical conclusions, and offer practical and actionable recommendations for modifying, improving, or enhancing current practice.

The report's applicability necessitates a critical evaluative attitude, empirical investigation, and analysis, as well as a blend of academic research and corporate report writing skills. Additionally, it necessitates consideration of the consequences for professional practise from an ethical, professional, and professional development perspective.

After successfully completing the 7IBI module, learners will be able to:

Recognize and justify a business idea or issue that is critical to the organization's strategic success.

Analyze and debate the current literature, contemporary human resource policies, and practises that are relevant to the chosen subject.

Contrast and compare the relative benefits of various research approaches and their applicability to various scenarios.

Begin by doing a systematic examination of quantitative and qualitative data and presenting the results in a logical and consistent way.

Create and deliver an effective business report.

Write a reflective account of the lessons learnt and how they can be utilised in the future.

What are the Evaluation Criteria?

This module is assessed using a variety of approaches to ensure that the learners' objectives are satisfied. Essentially, evaluation is used to demonstrate learners' conceptual understanding and their capacity to connect theory to practise.

Summative evaluation should be used to evaluate all 7 IBI learning outcomes. If the learner is required to pass this module, the assessment must comprise a 7000-word management research report or an authorised alternative.
